Where does Coker Homes build?
We build custom and semi-custom homes in Montrose, Ridgway and the surrounding areas of western Colorado, including our Valley Ranch and Falls at Valley Ranch neighborhoods and on Log Hill Mesa.
Can you build on my own lot?
Yes. We build on land you already own, or on one of our lots in Valley Ranch. Call us and we will walk the lot with you and talk through what will fit.
Do I have to use one of your floor plans?
No. You can start from one of our seven proven plans and customize it, or design a fully custom home from scratch around your lot and the way you live.
What floor plans do you offer?
Our current models are the Windom, Vermilion, Overlook, Denali, Serenity, Summit and Timberline, from about 2,048 to 3,980 square feet. Floor plans, renderings and 3D tours are available on request.
Are you a VA-approved builder?
Yes. Coker Homes is a Certified VA Builder (#01657), which can help eligible veterans use a VA loan to build a new home. Talk with your lender about your own eligibility.
How big are the lots in Valley Ranch?
Valley Ranch lots range from about .33 to .48 acres, with open space for kids to play and views of the San Juan and Cimarron ranges and the Grand Mesa.
Who will I work with during my build?
Coker Homes is family-run. You work directly with the Coker family (David and Bobbi, Ryan and Steven) and Woody Black, from the first conversation through move-in.
What is the custom build process?
1) We listen to your goals, needs and budget. 2) We turn them into a detailed design, from layout to finishes. 3) We build from foundation to finishing touches with regular progress updates. 4) We walk the finished home with you before handover. 5) We stay available after you move in.
What are Coker Homes known for?
Comfortable, livable layouts: four-foot hallways, larger garages, great kitchens, custom cabinetry and wood floors, with careful quality control on every build.
How many homes has Coker Homes built?
We have built more than 70 homes across three-plus subdivisions in the Montrose area.
Do you build lock-and-leave homes?
Yes. Many of our homeowners travel or split time between homes, so we design low-maintenance homes you can lock up and leave with confidence.
How much does it cost to build, and how long does it take?
