About Us: Your Home Building Experts in Montrose
A family team building homes we'd be proud to live in ourselves.
From Denver to the Western Slope
After a career in Denver, David Coker came to Montrose to help his son Ryan remodel a home in 2012 — and fell for the mountains, the golf courses and the pace of life here. That project turned into Coker Homes.
Today the core of the company is still the family: David and his wife Bobbi, and their sons Ryan and Steven. Our clients greatly appreciate the personal attention they receive from our family team.
Then there is Woody Black, our superintendent. Woody isn't family by blood, but he's the next closest thing. He has been a huge part of our story and our success, and his attention to detail shows in the quality of every home we build.
Montrose offers three 18-hole golf courses, endless outdoor recreation, and nonstop flights from Montrose Regional Airport — which is why so many of our homeowners love our "lock and leave" designs.
Built Around the Way You Live
Our homes are known for comfortable layouts, roomy garages, great kitchens and custom Amish cabinetry with wood floors. Pick one of our proven floor plans or bring your own ideas — we'll build around your vision with close attention to detail.
The Coker Family
We build long-term relationships with our homeowners, and we stay involved in every build.
